What if you don’t have kids? Does it follow then that you do not or should not need to do your Biographfilm?? ABSOLUTELY NOT! In fact, I will argue that you have even MORE reason to do Biographfilm.

Most people see the term “biography” and think “famous people.” You know, actors, entertainers, world leaders, revolutionaries, inventors….

And, so you’re thinking, exactly, I’m not Nelson Mandela or Taylor Swift.

And, you’re right. Thing is: you don’t need to be. Not for Biographfilm. You see, Biographfilm isn’t meant for celebrities. It’s meant for people. Are you one of those?

Some people think their story isn’t “remarkable enough” or interesting enough to warrant sharing or documenting — even for their closest loved ones. It’s the “my story is boring” excuse.

People don’t want to know your story because it’s remarkable. People want to know your story because it’s YOURS.

Every situation is different, but here are some pieces of advice to consider when you are gifting Biographfilm to a loved one.

I get this question often but from different angles. One angle is that two hours is too short, the assumption being that it’s not enough time to tell one’s story. The other side suggests that two hours is too long: how am I going to fill up two whole hours?

Sharing your story with others is like planting a seed in a garden. Just as a seed, when planted, has the potential to grow into a beautiful and vibrant plant, your story, when shared, has the potential to flourish and benefit both you and those who hear it.
